Kinley Senior Portraits

This one made me feel old y’all!

I remember the day Kinley was born and now she is graduating High School, time truly does fly!!

The day of Kinley’s session in true North Carolina fashion, the weather would not decide which way it wanted to go. One minute there were severe thunderstorms barreling through the area, and the next beautiful sunshine with a slight breeze. With a rain date scheduled, Kinley asked if we could go for it instead of canceling. Looking out the window at a dark ominous sky, I said sure, with the feeling we were for sure going to get rained out or on.

I could not have been more wrong.

Just as Kinley arrived, the last rain drops fell, the sun sneaked around the gloomy clouds and the weather turned into a gorgeous spring evening. I cold not have wished for better weather.

After fighting for parking downtown, and possibly angering someone trying to reserve a spot (to which Kinley laughed at me endlessly) ….we were off to start our session!

Having loved to be in front of the camera since she was little in her princess dresses, there was no surprise that Kinley rocked every shot from our downtown urban location to our elegant sunset garden location. Making my job easy and fun!

I could not have imagined earlier in the day when it was Thundering, Lightning and raining horribly, that we would end up with the most perfect spring evening!

As we wrapped up Kinley’s session we talked about her summer travel plans to Europe and the Tropics, graduation and her big move to ECU coming up!

Watching Kinley grow up and then being able to capture her senior portraits was a true full circle moment and I was so honored to be able to share in such an exciting moment in her life!

Kinley Bean thanks for believing in the weather, rocking every pose and laughing every-time I squealed over how great your images were looking!

Congrats Grad!

With Love,

Sam
