Meet Sam

Born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC, I have great appreciation for being between the mountains and the sea, a rivalry of blues and unpredictable weather. When I am not taking pictures of my food, clients or dog, you will find me curled up on the couch with coffee, a good book or watching the latest show. Comfort to me is key, so majority of the time you’ll find me in Birkenstocks, jeans and my favorite tee.

My Love Story

We’re A Cliche……

My senior year of high school, my best friend, J.D., turned into my high school sweetheart. My Dad will tell you he knew all along, but I guess it took us longer to figure it out. After 5 years of dating, at the top of a mountain we agreed to hang out forever. 5 years of marriage and over a decade of being together total, we both agree its been our favorite adventure!

A Few Of My Favorite Things

Traveling, Adventuring and experiencing new things fills my soul with happiness. You will often find me hiking, biking, wake surfing or kayaking among many other things. Truly, whatever gets me outside! Our current goal is to see all the U.S. National Parks, currently sitting at 20/63 visited.

JD’s family dog since he was 15 who became my bestie the moment I met her. Moving with me to college, and then along for the ride through everything else we’ve been through. Its safe to say, were obsessed with Mia.

While America might run on Dunkin, I run on fresh pour over coffee or a good crafted latte. If you see me without coffee, thats cause for concern.
