Sam + Chad’s Summer Wedding

On a warm sunny summer day, Sam + Chad tied the knot at the beautiful Mostellar Mansion in Hickory, NC.

Sam + Chad shared their first date at the gorgeous Mostellar mansion and found it to be the perfect spot for them to start their lives together as husband and wife. The venue provided unique old charm that you can’t find anywhere else. I was in photographer heaven and was thanking my lucky stars that it was a cool summer day, not like the scorchers we tend to have here in North Carolina summer’s.

Our favorite parts of the day were laughing at stories told by family members, crying with the mother of the bride as she watched her beautiful daughter and husband share a first look, to scarfing down a sandwich with bridesmaids before the ceremony. (We were SO EXCITED they had extra snacks that they wanted to share!)

Throughout the entire day, it was clear that Sam + Chad were the perfect fit for each other. Between Chad’s hilarious sense of humor, and Sam’s kind nurturing heart, you could not help but smile all the big smiles when you watched them together throughout the day.

Their day was full of personal touches that highlighted who they were, all the way down to the food that they served for dinner.

The day ended with Sam and Chad being showered with bird seed by their friends and family as they left to start their new lives as husband and wife.

Sam and Chad it was our honor and privilege to be a part of your big day. We loved sharing in every moment with you and wish you all the happiness that life has to offer you.
